Originally from the Kelowna, Rikki Cargo graduated from the Okanagan University College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Diploma in Multimedia at Vancouver Art Institute. She spent time in Vancouver, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Salt Lake City and Boston for international business with merchant banks and other various joint ventures before relocating to Vancouver Island in 2009.
Today Rikki is the CEO of Cargo Royale; an ecocouture fashion line that brings sustainability and benevolence to the luxury goods sector. www.CargoRoyale.com. Cargo Royale is currently in production and will be socially responsible, philanthropic fashion that enhances the lives of those we touch by helping them live better lives. Rikki has an uncanny ability to network and prove herself with influential leaders and CEOs abroad as people find her to be genuine, frank and easy to trust. Runway to Green is bringing together some of the world's top designers to help raise awareness about the environment. Each designer will create an exclusive fashion item for the Runway to Green Collection that will be sold in selected retail stores around the globe. The designers have all made a commitment to investigate the sustainable manufacturing practices put forward in the Clean by Design initiative from the NRDC.
