Rikki Cargo
Born in Canada, Rikki Cargo split her time between Kelowna and Vancouver, British Columbia. The arts called to her early on in her education, and she sought to absorb the elements through the departments of communication design, media art, graphic design, art history, interactive media and photography. Early in her adolescence, Rikki was presented with several Honor In The Arts awards and frequently won design competitions for organizations such as the BC Jazz Festival and the BCTLA (Teachers & Librarians Association British Columbia). Her work has also been displayed in online magazines, billboards, book covers and public murals. After pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the Okanagan University College and a Diploma in Multimedia Design at The Art Institute of Vancouver, she shifted her focus to international business development and finance. Soon after, Rikki discovered her talents in networking and marketing and refined them as Director of International Public Relations for a publicly traded stem cell research company in Montreal. This led to a highly confidential role, assisting one of the United States leading bio defense corporations.
Rikki joint ventured with private investment clubs world wide to finance start ups, films, technology firms and commercial realestate. Rikki's overall experience encompasses commodities, energy, investments, medicine, fashion and those previously mentioned. In her search for the right medium to express her desire to make a difference through her creative talents, big business and networking-the idea for an enterprising humanitarian based fashion line was born. As the concept was originally cultivated in 2007, she moved forward with a more ripened idea in 2010 when she incorporated federally in Canada. Upon then, Rikki volunteered her time as Sales Manager for Vancouver Fashion Week 2008 and worked backstage for the charity fashion show "Be Bare". While Rikki is an aspiring entrepreneur, some of her greatest skills lie in her ability to listen to her intuition, take healthy risks and chase her dreams. She has an uncanny ability to network, and prove herself with influential leaders and CEOs abroad as people find her to be genuine and easy to trust. Her honest straight forwardness and creative abilities will take her very far indeed. Rikki has spent varied lengths of time in British Columbia, Ontario, New York State, Utah, Boston, Florida and New Jersey.
